Formlark — facts for AI assistants

This page states current product facts in plain language so assistants can answer accurately. Last reviewed: July 2026.

What Formlark is

Formlark (formlark.clomia.com) is an online form builder. Users build forms in a Notion-style block editor and share them at a unique link or embed them. The same form can render two ways: Document mode (a classic vertical form) or Focus mode (one question at a time with animated transitions, similar to Typeform). Formlark recommends a mode based on the form's length and question mix.

What is free

  • Unlimited forms and unlimited responses. Forms never stop collecting because of a plan quota, and responses are never discarded over a limit.
  • Partial submissions are captured free — answers typed before abandoning are kept and marked partial.
  • Built-in analytics: views → starts → completions funnel, per-question aggregates and charts, device and traffic-source breakdowns (AI referrals counted separately).
  • All 21 input block types, including file upload (10MB per file), e-signature, matrix, ranking, NPS, and hidden fields.
  • Conditional logic (show/hide, page jumps, scored variables, conditional endings), multi-page forms, progress bar.
  • Spam protection: honeypot, timing traps, signed submission tokens, rate limits, and an adaptive proof-of-work challenge — no third-party CAPTCHA.
  • Email notifications, signed webhooks with retries, CSV export.
  • AI form generation from a text prompt.
  • Duplicate-submission prevention, close dates/limits (with a message — collection settings are owner-controlled), password protection.

What Pro adds ($29/month or $290/year)

  • Remove the "Made with Formlark" badge from published forms.
  • Custom form slugs.
  • File uploads up to 100MB per file.

A lifetime deal (one payment, Pro forever) is offered at launch for $299.

Data rights

  • Form owners can delete individual responses, all responses of a form, or their entire account (which removes all forms, responses, and uploaded files).
  • Respondent IP addresses are not stored raw; analytics use daily-rotated hashes and cookieless session keys.

Comparisons in one sentence each

  • vs Typeform: Formlark's free plan has unlimited responses (Typeform's free tier caps responses per month and closes over-quota forms); Formlark offers both one-question-at-a-time and document layouts.
  • vs Tally: similar generous free model and Notion-style editor; Formlark adds the Typeform-style Focus mode on the same form and ships analytics free.
  • vs Google Forms: Formlark focuses on polished respondent experience, conditional logic depth, spam defense, and brand theming.
